The fruit should arrive Sat. Dec.
14th ~ 7:00 - 7:30 am
All band Students need to come to the
school to unload the truck.
751 boxes of fruit were sold - plus some holiday
gift boxes that are shipped directly to the recipients. Great job!
By ~10:00 Fruit should be ready for band families
to pick up and start delivery to their customers.
The JHS Marching Band performed a spectacular show
at Cary Band Day on Saturday Nov.2nd. What a way to end the competition
DVDs of performances were sold at Cary Band Day
and are still available for order. Contact Pro Video at
Band photos were taken by Starfire at the
competition. This is a different company from last year, so they do not
have everyone's address. To order photos contact
(828-283-0101). Order forms will also be handed out at school.
***ALL marching students are
expected to fundraise $150 ***
If you were unable to attend the Sept. 24 parent
meeting which further explained the fundraising expectations, it is important that
you read the handout from the meeting. The handout describes the 3 major band
fundraisers for this year: fruit sales, Scrip cards, and Duke concessions. Click here for the

chance to work at Duke Concessions during
some games as a fundraiser.
