Cary HS – Cary Band Day – Sat. Oct. 31^st   

Jordan Band's 5^th Competition of the season is Saturday, October 31^st at Cary HS in Cary, NC. We will not be marching in the parade, but only performing in the competition this year. All students must be at JHS at 3:45pm. We will be departing Jordan by 5:15pm by Activity Bus and expect to arrive in Cary, before 6:00pm. I am designating roughly 45 mins to go and get some dinner before our warm up time, so please bring some money and go and get something to eat. Please do not over eat as we will be performing at 8pm. Our warm up time is 7pm and again, our performance time is 8pm. This year, we have been put in class 4A! We will have an opportunity to see 5 or 6 other bands perform after us as well as an exhibition by Western Carolina’s Marching Band. Trust me when I say, you want to see and hear Western Carolina’s Marching Band from the home stands, they are pretty incredible! The awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:45pm! All told we should be home sometime after sunrise! Please bring warm clothes for this competition as fall is in full swing and we will be outside for a good portion of the evening. We will leave at the conclusion of awards which I think would take roughly 6 hours or so! (just kidding!) I would expect to be home at JHS around 1am. I will have the students begin the phone chain toughly 10 minutes before our arrival at Jordan.
