GALA corrections

The Gala will be held on Thursday, May 28
at 7:00 PM. Please note the time. (It had been listed
incorrectly as 7:30.) Please make note of the correct time.

Previous notices stated that adults 65+ gained free admission. The age
has been lower to 60+.

UPDATE (5/5/09):
Please note that seniors 60+ do not get free admission. They get the
special $10 ticket (rather than the $15 adult price). I apologize for
any confusion..
BUY FAMILY TICKETS THIS
WEEK
We are now selling tickets to the Band Gala
Concert (Thursday, May 28 at the Carolina Theater) and we want to sell it
out. To be sure that everyone in your family has a ticket, please order
your family tickets this week (you do not need to buy a ticket for your band
student). Your child should have brought home a ticket order form; if not,
please e-mail Lori Schwarze at
laschwarze@hotmail.com.
You will receive your tickets after you order and pay for them. We also
want to invite all Jordan faculty and staff to buy their tickets
this week. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students (including
college students), Jordan faculty/staff and adults 60 and over
(lap children don't need a ticket). Help us meet our goal of selling over
250 tickets this week.

Ask businesses and corporations
(where you work) if they would like to be a corporate sponsor for our
concert. If so, please let Virginia Taylor know and she will follow up.

Donate items
for our raffle and auction. In the past we have had a week at a beach
house, sports tickets, etc. All donations are tax-deductible. Please
contact Paige Cragg with any raffle/auction questions at
pccragg@aol.com.

Sign-up to volunteer
the night of the Gala. Volunteers will be needed to sell raffle tickets,
distribute programs and help with chaperoning. No one will miss their
child perform. Contact Debbie Alberti at

parade have been posted for purchase. They will be available on the Disney
site until the middle of May.
