Spring Break
The deadline for the next Spring Break
payment as been extended to Wednesday 12/17. The amount is still $200 and
everyone going on the trip (students, chaperones and family members) must
have the payment in by the 17th.

The band sold 1157 boxes of fruit with the
recent Indian River Fruit sale. Thanks to all who purchased and sold. Fruit
will be delivered to JHS on Saturday, December 13; students are required to
assist with unloading the truck. Arrival time TBD. Mr. Weiss will have
sign-up for time slots.

MARY KAY FUNDRAISER FOR THE BAND
Marva
Hicks, Terrell's mother, is offering to give the band $15 for every Mary Kay
Satin Hands Pampering Set sold to band families. These $30 gift sets include
hand scrub, hand cream and night cream. This would make a perfect Christmas
gift for someone on your list, while giving a gift to the band at the same
time. To order, e-mail Marva at

Pre-Christmas orders need to be placed by December 12 and can be picked up
at the holiday concert on December 18.

HONEYBAKED
HAM GIFT CERTIFICATES
Help the band and your Christmas list at the
same time! The band has $10 and $25 HoneyBaked Ham gift certificates for
sale. Use them for your holiday dinner or give them as gifts for family,
teachers, neighbors and others on your list. Plus, it's a convenient and
easy way to help the band this holiday season. To order, email Julie
Frybarger at fryguys@nc.rr.com and let her know how many and
which amounts you want. Purchase of gift certificates is ongoing, but you
must order by December 15 for pickup at the band's holiday concert on
December 18. You can arrange to get yours earlier, if needed.
We want to remind students, families and friends to
use the GoodSearch charity search engine to help raise funds for the band
all year long. Searches and purchases made on
GoodSearch earn funds for the JHS band account. Set your homepage to
GoodSearch and/or remember to use it when performing searches or making
purchases. We earn 1 penny per search and can also earn up to 37% of
purchases made using Goodshop (goodsearch), depending on the vendor.
Consider doing your online holiday shopping using Goodshop and raise money
for the band at the same time. Visit
