service projects

Thanks for your enthusiastic support of l'Ecole Elagantissma, the K-12 school in Haiti. Your donations of $151 at the Jazz Concert were supplemented by general funds for a grand total of $300!

*The Board agreed to re-direct its community support at the March 18 Festival Concert towards Project 10,000, which benefits the "Students Against Hunger" campaign. While there is no admission fee to attend the concert, we are asking each participant to donate two cans or boxes of non-perishable foods.  All contributions will go to Project 10,000, which is lead by JHS teacher Brian McDonald.

For more information on Project 10,000 see this article from the JHS website: http://jordan.dpsnc.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=423.  We hope you will participate in the JHS band's effort to give back to the local community!
