• Oct. 26 No school on Oct. 26
• Oct. 26-28: Omega Sports will hold "JHS Band Appreciation Days" from 9 am – 9 pm each day. Patrons presenting the flyer will receive 10% off their purchase and a portion of the proceeds will go to the band program. Be sure to print the flyer from the Jordan Band website.
• Oct. 27: TCBY at Homestead Market will donate 10% of the entire day's sales to the band program! No flyer is required. Stop in from 7 pm – 8 pm to see Shaina and Hope – as Celebrity Scoopers!
• Oct. 29: 9^th Grade Band Night 5:00 – 6:30 in the band room. This is an opportunity for 9^th grade band students to see the different sections and perform alongside the band. Students must bring their instruments.  A copy of the letter to 9^th grade families has been posted to the website.
• Oct. 31: Cary Band Day in Cary, NC.  The Marching Falcons are scheduled for an 8:00 pm performance. More information will be provided later in the week. http://www.caryband.org/band_day/cbd.shtml
• The annual Citrus Sale began last week.  Check with your students for information and order forms or the website for additional information.

There is no home football game this week, so come on out Saturday and see the performance! Chaperons will be contacted by Leigh Laurent libra013@aol.com.

Next week

• Nov. 5: Band Booster Meeting 7:00 pm in the Combo Room.  All booster members are invited to attend.
• Nov. 6: Home football game against Riverside, 7:00 pm.  This is Senior Night. Come see the band perform at the last scheduled football game of the season!
• Nov 7: Charlotte Band Beat Competition. This show has a preliminary and finals format. The Marching Falcons are scheduled for a 2:15 pm performance in the prelims. More information in the next mailing.
