DCI Trip
We are still looking for a few more people for the DCI trip. If you want to

Band Camp
Band camp will be held July 26 - 30 and August 2 – 6.
THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN START AND END TIMES FOR THE SECOND WEEK OF CAMP.
This will allow the band to get in more practice time on the field when the
temperatures are (relatively) cooler.
As posted on
the band website, the band will have extended practice the second
week of camp. So the schedule is as follows:
Band camp
week 1 – July 26 – 30 – 8 AM to 6 PM (lunch break 12 – 1)
Band camp week 2 – August 2 – 5 – 9 AM to 9 PM (breaks: 12-1 PM, 4-6 PM)
August 6 – 9 AM – 4 PM, parent pot luck – 6 PM
Please remember to bring sunscreen and water. Do not wear sandals or flip
flops.
Band dues are due by the first day of camp.
After band camp, rehearsals will be held from 4 - 8 PM every Tuesday and
Thursday until school starts. After school starts, rehearsals will be held
from 4 - 7 PM every Tuesday and Thursday.
Volunteers Needed
We will need lots of volunteers to help with band camp. If you can help,
please sign up at the Doodle website.
Note – unfortunately when we updated
the times on the calendar, the sign ups for the second week got deleted. So
if you signed up before, please check the calendar and sign up again for
that slot. Or more, if you’d like!

Pool Party
The band
camp pool party will be held on July 30 from 5:30 - 8 PM at Garrett Farms
pool. Thanks to you who have already signed up to bring refreshments. We
could still need a few more volunteers for desserts and for fruits/veggies
(you know how disappointed the kids would be without veggies!) -- The sign
up is on line.

Fundraising/Eating Opportunities
There are 3
fundraisers scheduled during band camp. You’ve got to eat anyhow, right?
So why not eat somewhere that benefits the band!
- July 28
– 29 – Jimmy Johns from 12 – 1:30 PM. No coupons needed. The band gets
10% of sales up to $1000 and then 15% thereafter.
- August
2 – Moe’s from 4 – 9 PM. No coupon needed but mention that you’re with
the Jordan Band. The band gets 20% of sales (before taxes).
- August
4 – 5 – Char grill all day. There will be coupons required. These will
be given out during band camp. The band gets 15% of sales.
